Databricks Data Engineer Associate Roadmap with Shruti Bharat

Preparing for the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam and not sure where to start? This is a simple 7-step roadmap that follows the official exam guide, so you study what the exam actually covers.

What’s inside (11 pages):

1. The whole picture: exam facts, the 7 official sections, exam weight and a suggested time for each
2. One page per step, each with:
   1. a checklist of what to cover
   2. Ansh Lamba video links for the topic
   3. official Databricks docs links
   4. 2 hands-on practice tasks
   5. a “ready to move on when” check
3. A last-week plan, a list of mix-ups the exam likes, and a practice test log
4. Extra resources, including the official exam guide and Databricks Free Edition

Who it’s for:

1. Data engineers and students planning the Associate exam
2. Anyone who has watched random videos and wants a clear order to follow

Good to know:

1. It’s a study roadmap, not an exam dump. It has no exam questions and no pass guarantee.
2. The exam guide recommends about 6 months of hands-on Databricks work. If you’re newer, take longer on each step.
3. It’s an independent guide and is not affiliated with Databricks.
