Interview Prep: Product Manager Roles with Shubham Sharan

Targeted Product Management interview preparation from a Senior Product Manager with experience hiring Product Managers, interviewing for PM roles, and leading product teams across multiple companies. During this session, I will:

1. Identify the interview rounds you're preparing for, such as Product Sense, Execution, Analytical, Behavioral, Leadership, or Product Strategy, and explain what each round is designed to evaluate.
2. Conduct realistic mock interviews using questions tailored to your target company, role, and interview stage, based on real interview patterns I've experienced as both an interviewer and a candidate.
3. Review your responses in real time, highlighting where your answers lack clarity, structure, or depth, and how to make them more compelling.
4. Teach practical frameworks for approaching Product Sense, Execution, Prioritization, Metrics, Estimation, and Case Study questions without relying on generic interview templates.
5. Prepare you for behavioral interviews, including STAR-based storytelling, selecting the strongest examples from your experience, and communicating your impact effectively.
6. Explain what interviewers are really evaluating, beyond the question itself, based on my experience interviewing and hiring Product Managers.
7. Provide actionable feedback on your communication, problem-solving approach, answer structure, and overall interview performance, along with specific recommendations for improvement.
8. Answer your questions about the company, role, interview process, or specific interview rounds, helping you prepare with confidence and a clear strategy.
