About me
Hi, I'm Sanskar!
I'm a software engineer at Amazon and a MANIT Bhopal graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
When I was preparing for placements, I had plenty of questions. What should I learn? How important is DSA? Which projects actually matter? How do people get into top companies? And how do you know if you're preparing in the right direction?
Over time, through my own journey and conversations with friends from different engineering branches who moved into software and joined various companies, I realised something: there is a lot of confusion around placements, salaries, career choices, and what it actually takes to succeed.
That's why I want to help students and fresh graduates get practical guidance, honest answers, and a clearer picture of the software industry.
Here's what we can talk about:
• Career and placement strategy: Figure out what to focus on based on your current skills, goals, and situation.
• DSA and interview preparation: Understand how to prepare effectively, approach problems, and communicate your thought process in interviews.
• Resume and projects: Identify gaps in your resume, improve how you present your projects, and understand what makes a profile stronger.
• Moving from non-CS branches to software: Explore how students from ECE and other engineering branches can prepare for software roles.
• Salary packages and CTC breakdowns: Understand the difference between CTC, fixed pay, variable pay, bonuses, and stock compensation, so you can make informed career decisions instead of judging an offer by one big number.
• Placement myths and industry realities: Discuss common assumptions about big companies, high salaries, placements, and career growth. I'll share an honest perspective based on my experience and what I've learned from people around me.
• Career decisions and confusion: Whether you're unsure which skills to learn, which companies to target, or how to compare two opportunities, we can discuss your options and think them through together.
My approach is simple: no unnecessary hype, no fake promises, and no one-size-fits-all advice. I'll try to understand your situation, share what I genuinely know, and help you figure out your next steps.
I remember how difficult it can be to make career decisions when you don't have someone you can openly discuss your doubts with. If I can help someone avoid unnecessary confusion and make a better-informed decision, that makes this worthwhile for me.
If you're a student or a fresher trying to figure things out, feel free to book a session. Bring your questions, doubts, or even the things you're hesitant to ask others. Let's have an honest conversation.
