Script to Screen by Theatrewala (weekday) with Theatrewala

Monday – Friday · 9 AM – 1 PM · Starts 19 October · Diwali break 6–13 November · Mukti Manch, Versova

A good performance doesn’t count for much if nobody gets to see it. From Script to Screen takes you through the whole journey an actor’s work goes through, from the first read of a scene to the final edited cut.

You’ll start with the script. You’ll break the scene down, find what your character wants, map the beats, and build real chemistry with your scene partner. Then you’ll rehearse until the scene stops feeling like lines and starts feeling like life. After that, we move to the camera. You’ll learn how framing, eyelines and stillness change a performance, and why what works on stage often needs to come down a notch on screen.

Every scene is shot professionally and edited by our team. At the end of the batch, you leave with scene work you can send to casting directors, agencies and production houses.

What you walk away with:

• Professionally shot and edited scenes for your showreel
• Real on-camera experience
• An understanding of how to adapt your performance for the screen

Seats are limited, so every actor gets camera time.
