How does Ask Me Anything work?
Send one question in writing and I’ll reply in writing within 48 hours. There’s no call.
How long does a resume or LinkedIn service take?
Usually 5 to 7 working days after our call. You’ll get one round of edits after you review it.
What does Career Strategy Call cover?
It’s a one-on-one call to work out your next career move and how to get there. We can cover most of the below points: 1. Whether to stay in your field, move sideways, or switch careers 2. Which roles and companies fit your experience 3. What’s holding back your job search right now 4. How to approach a promotion, a raise, or an offer you’re considering 5. Moving between countries for work, for example between the US and India 6. A clear list of next steps you can start on right away Come with your resume or LinkedIn URL and one or two questions that matter most to you. After the call, I’ll send you a short written summary of the plan.
Do you help with IT/software or coding technical interview rounds?
No. I focus on behavioral, managerial and HR rounds: how you present your experience, answer situational questions and discuss salary.
What does the study abroad consultation cover?
Applying for an MS in the US- shortlisting universities, your SOP and resume, assistantships and funding, and what life and the job search look like after you land. It’s based on my own experience as an international student and isn’t visa or immigration advice.
Is an MS in the US still worth it?
It depends on your field, how you’ll fund it, and what you want afterward. STEM programs with good industry links and some funding are still a strong option. An expensive degree with a weak job market in your field is a big financial risk. We’ll look at your specific case.
How hard is it to find a job after graduating in the US?
Harder than most people expect, so start in your first semester. Apply for internships, networking and career fairs. For anything about visas, OPT or sponsorship, check the official sources or ask your university’s international office. Those rules change often.
Do you work with people outside the food industry?
Yes. Resume structure, positioning and interview skills carry across industries. For specialized fields, I’ll ask you about the keywords and tools that matter in your field, since you’ll know those better than I do.
Do you consult for food and beverage startups?
Yes. I work with food and beverage startups, established brands and HoReCa businesses on new product development, end-to-end development, reformulation, scale-up, shelf-life studies, and menu and recipe development. Book the free Food NPD Discovery Call, or see drishtimajithia.com for how I work.
How long does it take to develop a new food product?
It depends on the product, but for most packaged foods expect 3 to 6 months from concept to a product ready for a trial run on a production line, longer if shelf-life testing is involved. The bench recipe is usually the fastest part. Scale-up and shelf life take the most time.
How much do you charge for F&B NPD and scale-up consulting?
No two brands come to me with the same product, timeline or budget, so I don't work from a fixed price list. Before quoting, I take the time to understand the details: what you're making, where you are today and what you need from me. Then I scope the work around those details and send you a written proposal with a price built for your project, broken down by milestone, so you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
