Cold Email Mastery: Unlock Opportunities with Manpreet Kaur

Don’t be afraid to take the leap—craft your email and witness the magic unfold.

Sometimes, it just takes one email to transform your professional life.

Suggestions:

1. List all companies in your major’s domain to target.
2. Cold-email them strategically.
3. Avoid unnecessary cold emails; be intentional with your outreach.
4. Craft a cover letter: This can be separate or included in the email itself. It’s the heart of your outreach and could change your professional trajectory. Take your time—don’t rush!
5. Research, Research, Research: Create a unique template; avoid copying others.
6. Sending 2-3 well-crafted emails is more effective than blasting 100 without a plan.
7. Use LinkedIn for targeted searches: Search for "Company name," [title], [major] to find relevant contacts. Titles could be Head, Director, HR, Partner, Manager, etc.
8. Consider using Chrome to search, as it can direct you to the LinkedIn app.
9. Set fixed hours for your search (e.g., 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM).
10. Patience is key!
11. Dedicate 15-30 minutes during college hours to focus on your career instead of wasting time
