About me

I'm Rishi Singh, a Brand Strategist, Creative Entrepreneur, and Co-founder & Managing Director of Awesome Sauce Creative. With a background in design and marketing, I've built my professional journey around understanding one fundamental question: Why do people choose one brand over another? For me, branding has never been limited to logos, colours, or advertising. It's about human behaviour, cultural influences, perception, psychology, and the decisions that shape how businesses are experienced and remembered. Over the years, I've worked across brand strategy, creative communication, design, and marketing, helping businesses find their identity, articulate their purpose, and build meaningful connections with their audiences. I'm particularly interested in how brands evolve with changing generations, how consumer psychology influences purchasing decisions, and how culture, technology, and creativity continuously redefine the way we perceive value. Through Branding with Rishi, I share my observations, experiences, opinions, and learnings from the world of brands and business. I explore everything from iconic branding case studies and marketing psychology to Gen Z consumer behaviour, design movements, the attention economy, and the growing intersection of artificial intelligence and human creativity. I don't believe every marketing trend deserves to be followed, every rebrand deserves applause, or every popular opinion deserves agreement. I believe in questioning conventions, looking beyond aesthetics, and understanding the strategy behind creative decisions. My objective is simple: To make branding easier to understand, more interesting to explore, and more practical to apply. I'm a designer by education, a strategist by profession, and a curious observer of brands, people, and culture by choice. Because I believe the best brands don't just sell products. They shape perceptions, influence behaviour, and become part of people's lives.
